MIT Campus Police cruiser parked in posted-no-parking bike lane (i.e. doubly illegal), on Ames St in front of the Starbucks. There was no one in the cruiser.

It's very thoughtful that someone who decides to park in the bike lane went out and got paramedic training first, so as to better help any cyclists for whom they caused accidents.
This ambulance was parked here (outside Starbucks) for at least 12 minutes -- they were there when I went by at 11:30, and were still there (with no one inside the vehicle) at 11:42.

Last car from this batch. I'm pretty sure this was a New Mexico plate. There was no plate on the front bumper.

When I advised this gentleman, sitting in the drivers' seat, that he was parked illegally in the bike lane, he assured me that he was "just waiting" and that was okay. Uh, whatever.

The second of four cars parked in the bike lane in front of Starbucks'. This one was empty, and clearly illegally parked.

As I walked up to Starbucks to document this afternoon's offenders (parking in the bike lane on Ames St), a fourth car pulled up -- this livery vehicle. When I took the photo, the driver was still in the car, but as I walked down the row taking pictures of the other three cars, he got out and stood on the sidewalk.
I'm not sure this is technically illegal, but it's certainly annoying.

Saw this fire department truck parked here in front of a Starbucks' around noon on May 7, 2007. No one sitting in the cab of the truck.
